Protection of National Interests in the New Domains

New security domains are the areas entailing emerging security concerns, such as space, internet, AI, and biotechnology. They are distinguishable from traditional security areas and represent the development of security issues in our time. While they are the most dynamic areas of technological development on which humanity's future depends, efforts must be made to ward off and counter the potential threats to national security. It is essential in this respect to join global efforts for shared development, use, and management of technologies in the new security domains. 

Guided by a vision for development that benefits all and emphasizes innovation, coordination, environmental protection, and openness, China will continue to build capacity in new and emerging areas to protect its national interests from any potential threat and support peaceful use of new technologies. 

China's active participation in global security governance in the new domains in recent years has contributed significantly to the wellbeing of humanity.

新型安全領(lǐng)域，是相對(duì)于傳統(tǒng)領(lǐng)域而言、引領(lǐng)時(shí)代潮流的新興安全空間，具有鮮明的時(shí)代特征，主要包括太空、網(wǎng)絡(luò)、人工智能、生物等領(lǐng)域，是當(dāng)前科學(xué)技術(shù)發(fā)展應(yīng)用最活躍的新領(lǐng)域，是人類未來生存發(fā)展的新領(lǐng)域，是維護(hù)國(guó)家安全的新領(lǐng)域。維護(hù)新型安全領(lǐng)域利益，應(yīng)秉持共同開發(fā)、共同利用、共同管理的基本政策，堅(jiān)持創(chuàng)新、協(xié)調(diào)、綠色、開放、共享的發(fā)展理念，加快推進(jìn)新型領(lǐng)域安全能力建設(shè)，為維護(hù)國(guó)家安全利益、和平利用新型領(lǐng)域提供重要支撐。近年來，中國(guó)積極參與新型領(lǐng)域的國(guó)際安全治理，為造福人類作出了重要貢獻(xiàn)。
