Guizhou, a Showcase for China

Since 2008, Guizhou has successfully organized a host of international exhibitions and conferences, including Eco Forum Global Guiyang, China International Big Data Industry Expo, China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week, International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference, and China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo. These events offer the international community important platforms to learn about China's explorations, responsibilities and achievements.

Eco Forum Global Guiyang is the only international forum themed on the promotion of ecological progress in China. It shares the story of China, facilitates international exchanges and cooperation and helps expand China's international circle of friends and overseas influence. A series of outcome documents of the forum, such as Guiyang Consensus, has produced practical and far-reaching impact.

Since its inception in July 2008, China-ASEAN Education Cooperation Week has been held annually in the principles of equality, mutual trust, openness, innovation, mutual learning, and win-win cooperation. It is the only inter-governmental exchange and cooperation platform themed on education between China and ASEAN. A number of well-known programs have been developed, including those on intercollegiate cooperation, youth exchange, and vocational education. A cooperation model has been created, featuring the framework of "1+10+N", i.e., China, ASEAN countries, and specially invited partner countries. The event has played a positive role in promoting China-ASEAN education cooperation, cementing the friendship between peoples, and consolidating their cultural exchanges.

A number of international industry conferences have provided Guizhou with platforms to open up to the outside world. Specifically, China International Big Data Industry Expo, China (Guizhou) International Alcoholic Beverages Expo, International Mountain Tourism and Outdoor Sports Conference, and Guizhou Tourism Development Conference have produced wide international influence. Every year, scholars and manufacturers from all over the world share their research results and opinions with each other and seek opportunities for cooperation at these conferences, during which they can also enjoy pleasant natural scenery and diverse ethnic cultures.

“貴州之窗”看中國

2008年以來,貴州持續辦好生態文明貴陽國際論壇、中國國際大數據產業博覽會、中國一東盟教育交流周、國際山地旅游暨戶外運動大會、中國(貴州)國際酒類博覽會等一系列國際會展活動,成為向國際社會展現中國探索、中國擔當、中國成績的重要窗口。

生態文明貴陽國際論壇是中國目前唯一以生態文明為主題的國家級、國際性論壇。論壇發出響亮的生態文明“中國聲音”,通過論壇搭建交流合作的橋梁,中國在相關領域的國際朋友圈越來越大,海外影響力越來越重要,通過的《貴陽共識》等一系列會議成果產生了務實、深遠的影響。

“中國一東盟教育交流周”自2008年7月創辦至今,每年舉辦一屆,秉持“平等互信、開放創新、互學互鑒、合作共贏”的精神,成為中國和東盟唯一以教育為主題的政府間交流合作平臺。交流周形成了院校合作、青少年交流、職業教育等品牌項目,構建了中國、東盟及特邀伙伴國“1+10+N”合作模式等,為推動中國一東盟教育合作、促進民間友好、夯實人文交流發揮了積極作用。

一系列國際性行業大會是貴州向世界開放的窗口。其中,中國國際大數據產業博覽會、中國(貴州)國際酒類博覽會、國際山地旅游暨戶外運動大會、貴州省旅游產業發展大會已產生較為廣泛的國際影響力。每年,來自世界各地的學者、廠商都在大會上交流研究成果、尋找合作機會,并且愉快地享受怡人的自然風光和燦爛的民族多樣性文化。
