Qatar and Uzbekistan have advanced to the quarterfinals of the Asian Cup football tournament in Doha, after the hosts shut-out Kuwait, 3-0 and Uzbekistan eliminated China with a 2-2 draw. Uzbekistan topped Group A with seven points, one better than Qatar, while China had four and Kuwait ended the tournament.
