China Aims to Consolidate Drug Market
|
|
China's government is mulling the nurture of 10 large pharmaceutical corporations and a subsequent dismantling of 10 percent of the country's present 6,700 pharmaceutical producers, the Xinkuai newspaper reported in a March 26 story on a recent national pharmaceutical conference.
The government will allocate funds to China's best drug producers instead of propping up industry losers, the paper said.
