Hong Kong Film Exhibition, as a new part of the 5th Shanghai International Film Festival, was staged in Shanghai on June 10, also reported being first held in China's mainland.
Altogether seven HK-made films will be shown during the 7-day exhibition. Present at the opening ceremony on June 10 were some famous stars of the films put on show to lend attraction to the Film Exhibition.
Film epitomizes culture and life. Official of the Hong Kong Tourism Board expressed his hope that Shanghai citizens may know Hong Kong well by watching the films reflecting Hong Kong's special culture.
