Libya's ousted leader Col. Muammar Gaddafi has called on Libyans to come on to the streets "in their millions" to resist the nation's interim leaders, BBC reported.
In an audio message broadcast on Syrian-based Arrai television, he says conditions in Libya have become "unbearable." The message comes as heavy fighting continues between anti-Gaddafi forces and loyalists for the city of Sirte. Gaddafi also questioned the right of the National Transitional Council to govern, asking: "How did it get its legitimacy? Did the Libyan people elect them? Did the Libyan people appoint them?"
Meanwhile, he warned that leaders of the developing countries who had recognized Libya's National Transitional Council that gained its rule over the country with NATO help, would face a similar fate as him.
Arrai is now the sole channel that broadcasts voices of Gaddafi and members of the fallen Libyan administration.
