A labor leader of the ruling Pakistan Peoples Party was shot dead by unidentified gunmen in the outskirts of northwestern city of Peshawar on Thursday evening, police said.

Saad Kamal Shah, President of the People's Unity in Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) and his fellow were shot dead on Bara Road.

According to police, Saad Kamal Shah and his friend were returning home in a car after ending duty at PIA office in Peshawar, the capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
