Six workers were killed and one injured in a gas leak at a coal mine in southwest China's Yunnan Province Wednesday, local authorities said.
The accident occurred at 10:20 a.m. at a coal mine run by Yunnan Dongyuan Luoping Coal Mining Co. in Luoping County, Qujing City, the county publicity department said in a statement.
An investigation into the cause of accident is under investigation.
