The fifth Chinese Film Festival has opened at the Gaumont Theatre in Paris, France.

Famous French actress Juliete Binoche hosted the red carpet premiere. Xu Jinglei's comedy "The Story Of Dulala" was the opening film. It follows the careers and love lives of modern women living in the city.

Binoche said France is lucky to experience Chinese culture via the big screen and that Paris needs some Chinese elements to enrich its domestic culture.

More than 30 Chinese movies will be shown in four categories: new releases, Zhouxuan's special, cartoons and documentaries. The festival runs for 15 days.
