35 couples from all over China celebrated their big day in a unique way at the Expo, as they gathered for a mass wedding in the French Pavilion. The Tours (TOOR) Wedding Ceremony in traditional French-style is the first ever wedding held at the Expo.

The 35 couples stepped onto the stage bathed in wishes from their loved ones, relatives and friends at the Expo park.

And This French wedding had something special - the Mayor of Tours (TOOR) as the chief witness.

Organizers say they'll arrange at least 3 other French-style weddings like this during the Expo and they're inviting applications online for couples who want to have a French mayor witness their big day.
