JAL increases flights on Kansai-Hangzhou route
Adjust font size:

To meet the increasing demand, Japan Airlines has announced that it will increase the flight frequency on the route between Kansai International Airport and Hangzhou from three flights a week to seven a week at the end of October.

At present, the company operates seven weekly flights on the route between Tokyo Narita International Airport and Hangzhou. JAL has also decided to increase the number of flights between Kansai and Hangzhou with aims of attracting more business travelers.

Meanwhile, due to rising fuel costs, the company plans to cancel two routes focusing on leisure tourists: the Narita-Xi'an and the Kansai-Qingdao route.

In addition, to improve the yield on the routes to China, JAL also is expediating the replacement of the existing aircraft by more cost effective types which are used on the China routes.
