The Ningxia Liupan Mountain International Tourism and Leisure Resort started construction in Guyuan City, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, on June 13.
To be jointly built by the Guyuan Municipal Government and UAE Royal Investment Bureau, the project was signed during the 2013 China-Arab States Expo. The construction is planned to be completed in three phases. The total investment in the first phase is expected to reach 1.123 billion yuan. The Guyuan Municipal Government will invest 205 million yuan on infrastructure construction and the UAE Royal Investment Bureau will invest 918 million yuan on the resort and the hunting field construction.
Occupying a total area of 817 hectares, the project was composed by the resort and the hunting field and the first phase of construction is expected to be completed by November this year.
