| Direct air route connecting Ningxia with Dubai to be launched | |||

According to Ningxia airport corporation, Sichuan Airlines was expected to launch the Chengdu-Ningxia-Dubai air route, two flights a week, before September 9th , 2015. It was Ningxia’s first regular route performed by wide-body aircraft, saving about 20% of the flight costs and nearly five hours of the time, compared with routes bypassing Beijing and Shanghai. The route was to be performed by airbus A330 wide-body aircraft with a passenger capacity of 300 people. Currently, only Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, Kunming and Urumqi in China had direct flights flying to Dubai, and Yinchuan would become the sixth one. Due to the geographical advantages, the route could save passengers who fly from Midwest China to Arab States about 20% of the flight costs and nearly five hours of the time, compared with routes bypassing Beijing and Shanghai. To open direct flights to Dubai has great significance to Yinchuan Hedong International Airport in forge a gateway airport facing towards Arab States. |
