Ningxia Aiyi Lavender leisure park in Yinchuan Binhe district, the largest Lavender theme park across China, with an coverage area of about 533 hectacres and a planned investment of about 5 billion yuan, would be officially open to the public on June 27. By then, visitors could not only claim lavender field, but also to extract essential oils themselves.

Based on the original topography, the park skillfully combined the Mediterranean design and European style with the northwest desert scenery.

According to Yangwu, the chairman of the Lavender leisure park, they planned to plant about 267 acres of lavender field in 3 to 5 years, and 133 hectares for this year."

To make visitors experience Lavender culture in close distance, the park held an activity for them to claim lavender fields on Valentine's day this year and would design a series of activity during Qixi---the Chinese Valentine's day.

In addition, the park has a lavender research studio, in which visitors could extract lavender essential oil under professional guidance.

With the geographical advantages of being adjacent to the Yellow River, the park would create a tourism brand, namely, the Chinese Yellow River Lavender Cultural Park.
