Midea specializes in the manufacture of household appliances. It is one of the largest white goods producers and exporters in China.He Xiangjian, chairman of the board of directors of Midea Group, donated 104.75 million yuan ($16.1 million) in 2010 including 15 million yuan ($2.3 million) for disaster relief in earthquake-struck Yushu in Qinghai Province.
