Li Li & family (李鋰家族)

Li Li with his family is Asia's richest newcomer. He is the chairman of Shenzhen Hepalink Pharmaceutical, a producer of heparin used to treat cardiovascular and cerebrovascular diseases. Goldman Sachs has 11% stake in company, which is a supplier to Sanofi-Aventis. It went public in May 2010. Li and wife Li Tan co-founded the company in the 1980s as Chongqing Tongda Biological Products. They later moved to Shenzhen, and eventually changed company name. The Lis both graduated from Sichuan University as chemistry majors in 1987.
