China's Han Xiaopeng and Li Nina completed a great season as they both captured aerials victories at the season-ending FIS Freestyle World Ski Championships held in Madonna di Campiglio, Italy on Saturday.

Han, who has not bagged any trophy since coming from nowhere to win Olympic gold medal in Turin in February last year, finished with 240.86 points in the men's final, 4.44 clear of nearest rival Dmitri Dashinski from Belarus.

Canada's Steve Omischl, who has just won the World Cup on home soil late February, was third with 235.81, but already secured the top place on the World Cup overall standings after the World Cup series in Canada.

The 24-year-old Han was sixth on the World Cup standings.

In women's part, Olympic silver medalist Li Nina, 24, who has just crowned at the 6th Winter Asian Games held in North China's Changchun, registered 188.05 points to claim her third title this season.

Australian Jacqui Cooper, the world number one aerials skier, scored a total of 182.58 points to finish third, and Assoli Slivets from Belarus second with 186.55.

Cooper is in her best season since 2000 when she notched up eight titles in all on the World Cup circuit.

With her three World Cup victories this season, the 34-year-old won the overall World Cup aerials title and leads 55 points ahead of Li who is 2nd in the standings.
