Spain midfielder Iniesta was voted the Man of the Match after Spain beat Paraguay 1-0 on Saturday to meet Germany in the World Cup semis.
Although striker David Villa scored the winner tonight, it was assisted by Iniesta who slalomed through two defenders and laid the ball off to Pedro whose shot rebounded off the post to Villa.
The Barcelona midfielder, 26, is one of a long line of gifted creative midfielders to have come off the FC Barcelona production line, following in the footsteps of such luminaries as Josep Guardiola, Ivan de la Pena and Xavi.
