Choi Ho Jin of South Korea scored a straight set victory of 21-19, 21-18 over Lin Dan of China in the final of badminton men's singles at the East Asian Games in Hong Kong on Sunday.

The bronze medal was shared by Son Wan Ho of South Korea and Hsueh Hsuan-Yi of Chinese Taipei.
