Police are trying to trace the owner of a toy life-size tiger that sparked a major operation involving armed officers and a force helicopter in Southampton, the Daily Telegraph reports.

But as police officers carefully approached the "wild animal" they realized it was not moving and the helicopter crew, using thermal imaging equipment, realized there was no heat source coming from it.

Releasing a photo of the toy tiger, a force spokeswoman said: "The toy tiger is life-size and is like one that you would win at a fair. It is being treated as lost property but we don't know how it came to be in the field and whether it may have been a hoax."

英出動(dòng)直升機(jī)抓玩具虎

???????據(jù)英國(guó)《每日電訊報(bào)》報(bào)道，英國(guó)南安普頓警方出動(dòng)地面武裝警察，還調(diào)用警用直升機(jī)，追捕一只仿真玩具老虎。

???????當(dāng)警察小心翼翼試圖接近這頭“猛獸”時(shí)，發(fā)現(xiàn)它一動(dòng)不動(dòng)；而直升機(jī)機(jī)組人員使用熱能成像設(shè)備觀察，也發(fā)現(xiàn)它根本就沒有熱源。
