Mark Hendrick, Chair of the All Party Parliamentary China Group of the UK Parliament, addresses the opening of the 2010 Joint Conference of European Confucius Institutes at the London South Bank University (LSBU) in London, capital of Britain, Sept. 6, 2010. The annual conference witnesses the attendance of delegates from 72 Confucius Institutes or Confucius Classrooms, non-profit public institutions initiated by Hanban and it aims to promote Chinese language and culture and support local Chinese teaching internationally.
