Russia resumes natural gas supply to Greece
Adjust font size:

The flow of Russian natural gas into Greece via Bulgaria was restored on Thursday, the Greek Public Gas Corporation (DEPA) announced.

DEPA said that the supply of Russian natural gas to Greece stopped on Jan. 6 due to the Russian-Ukrainian dispute and stressed that Greece was the only European country that had not faced any problem in supplying its domestic market during the crisis.

The company also denied the reports that the liquefied natural gas station at Revythousa had reached its limits.

According to DEPA, the need of the Greek domestic market was covered fully with absolute safety of the Revythousa station being replenished by additional shipment of natural gas.
