Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit, vice chairman of the National Committee of the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference (CPPCC), met in Beijing Wednesday with Mir Nawaz Khan Marwat, honorary president of the Asian Conference on Religion and Peace (ACRP).
Under the principle of promoting mutual respect among religious groups in Asia, as well as safeguarding regional and world peace, the ACRP has done effective work and won support from religious organizations in Asia, said Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit.
China appreciated the ACRP's respect and support to the China Committee on Religion and Peace regarding issues of Taiwan and Tibet, he added.
Abdul'ahat Abdulrixit also briefed guests on relevant information about the CPPCC.
