Macao reported 43 newly confirmed cases of Influenza A/H1N1 on Thursday, bringing the cumulative number of such cases to 784 so far.

The newly confirmed cases comprised 22 female patients and 21 male patients whose ages ranged from two to 46, Macao's Health Bureau said.

Statistics from the Bureau showed that some 18 patients who tested positive for the A/H1N1 virus were still receiving medical treatments at local hospitals, but their health conditions, except for one seriously ill patient, remained stable.
