Kathmandu-based South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC) Secretariat has given recognition to the SAARC Federation of Oncologist, the umbrella organization of the oncologists in the member countries.
According to Nepali National News Agency RSS Monday's report, as per the recognition, the concerned associations in the member countries have also been recognized as the member of the federation.
Founded in 1985, the SAARC includes Bhutan, Bangladesh, India, Maldives, Sri Lanka, Nepal, Pakistan and Afghanistan.
