Taiwan's latest musical prodigy Candy Hsu attracted a large crowd at her first meet-up with fans in Taipei on Sunday.
The ten-year-old signed copies of her self-written album "Vanilla Kitty," and wowed her fans with jams on the keyboard and saxophone, entertainment news outlet Tungstar reported.
Many parents who consider Hsu a role model for their children were present at the signing, the report says. One girl Hsu's age even asked the young singer-songwriter to be her music teacher.
But the occasion made the new star nervous. According to her father, Hsu spend an entire month practicing her autograph.
"Vanilla Kitty" has topped sales charts since its release on February 29. Candy Hsu wrote all ten songs on the kid-friendly album. She also plays piano, guitar, saxophone and jazz drums.
