A twin-engine plane crashed in Brazil's Amazon jungle Wednesday, killing all six people aboard, according to the country's National Civil Aeronautics Board (ANAC).

 

The Seneca plane crashed in dense jungle in central Brazil, about 40 km from Cuiaba, in Mato Grosso state, from where it had taken off, the ANAC said in a statement.

 

The plane's pilot Magno Caetano S. Olzow and all five passengers on board were killed.

 

The ANAC sent a team of experts to the crash scene to investigate.
