NETGEAR, Inc., a networking products provider, has chosen Hong Kong as its Asia-Pacific headquarters and a base for its regional growth.
The Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of the company Patrick Lo said Wednesday that NETGEAR chose Hong Kong as its regional headquarters in the Asia Pacific region mainly because of its superior logistics and telecommunication infrastructure, its extensive pool of manufacturing, finance, logistics and management talents, its proximity to company's manufacturing base in Chinese mainland, and an efficient economy and low tax structure.
According to the company based in the heart of Silicon Valley, it provides branded, easy to use, reliable and technologically advanced networking solutions for homes and small businesses.
