A Zero-Tolerance Anti-Corruption Campaign That Knows No Bounds

Courage to reform itself and enforce strict discipline is the CPC’s most distinctive characteristic.

In response to complex domestic and international challenges and needs in an evolving context, the CPC Central Committee has launched a sweeping campaign against corruption since its 18th National Congress.

The campaign is premised on the imperative that the Party must supervise itself and enforce strict discipline and ethical standards. Vital to the Party’s political mandate, its historic mission and goals, and, indeed, its survival, no place has been out of bounds, no ground left unturned, and no tolerance shown in the fight against corruption. It will serve as a powerful deterrent against corruption, and help create an environment that encourages integrity and removes incentives for corruption.

Today, the initial goal of creating a deterrent against corruption has been attained; the cage of institutions that prevents corruption has been strengthened; and moral defenses against corruption are in the making.

勇于自我革命，從嚴管黨治黨，是中國共產黨最鮮明的品格。中共十八大以來，面對紛繁復雜的國際國內形勢和千頭萬緒的各領域工作，中央始終把黨要管黨、從嚴治黨的政治責任扛在肩上，始終以強烈的歷史責任感、深沉的使命憂患意識和頑強的意志品質，旗幟鮮明地推進黨風廉政建設和反腐敗斗爭，堅持無禁區、全覆蓋、零容忍，嚴肅查處腐敗分子，堅決遏制腐敗現象蔓延勢頭，著力營造不敢腐、不能腐、不想腐的政治氛圍。當前，不敢腐的目標初步實現，不能腐的籠子越扎越牢，不想腐的堤壩正在構筑。
