Two workers were killed and another two injured in a Monday fire at a mobile phone plant in suburban Shanghai, local authorities said.

The fire broke out around 9:20 a.m. at a plant operated by Shanghai Hehong Huajin Nanotechnology Co., a Japanese-funded company based in Jinshan district which mainly produces mobile phone parts.

The fire was put out shortly after breaking out and police are investigating the cause of the fire, according to local authorities.
