Over 116,000 inoculated against A/H1N1 in Macao

A total of 116,252 people in Macao have been inoculated with the A/H1N1 vaccine so far, Macao's Health Bureau said on Monday.
The Bureau recorded two cases of A/H1N1 flu in the past one week, bringing the total number of such cases to 3,619 since June 18, 2009, of which two patients died.
Previously,the Macao region government has announced that it has purchased some 700,000 doses of A/H1N1 vaccines,and local medical staff,children,old people and patients with chronic disease were among the group of local people who were firstly inoculated with these vaccines.
Meanwhile, there was no A/H1N1 patient admitted into local hospitals between June 15 and 21, according to the Bureau.
