The gold price in Hong Kong fell 270 HK dollars to open at 10,430 HK dollars per tael on Wednesday.

The price is equivalent to 1,130.72 U.S. dollars a troy ounce, down 29.27 U.S. dollars at the latest exchange rate of one U.S. dollar against 7.743 HK dollars.
