Grain exports grow

China posted a substantial growth in grain exports in October and November last year, after its soybean won more biddings in South Korea, the General Administration of Customs said yesterday.

In October, China exported 228,000 tons of grain, including cereal and cereal powder, beans and tuber crops, up 32.7 percent from the previous month, and 270,000 tons in November, up 18.6 percent month on month. In November, soybean exports soared 78.6 percent year on year to 45,000 tons.
