Eminem led the U.S. albums chart for a second week on Wednesday, becoming the first artist this year to sell more than 300,000 units for multiple weeks.

The rapper sold 313,000 units of "Recovery" during the week ended July 4, according to Nielsen SoundScan data, taking its total to 1.1 million copies. (Susan Boyle's "I Dreamed a Dream" racked up five 300,000-plus weeks last December.)

The top debuts came from R&B singer/songwriter the-Dream and elctronica duo 3OH!3, respectively. The former entered with his third album, "LoveKing," at No. 4 with 58,000. His last set, 2009's "Love Vs. Money," debuted and peaked at No. 2 with 151,000 in its first week.

3OH!3's sophomore album, "Streets of Gold," glittered at No. 7 with 41,000. The duo's first set, "Want," eventually rose to a peak of No. 44 in May 2009.

Canadian rapper Drake's "Thank Me Later" held at No. 2 for a second week, selling 105,000. The "Twilight Saga: Eclipse" soundtrack jumped seven places to No. 3 with 65,000, as the film opened at No. 1 at the box office.

The "Now 34" compilation held at No. 5 (45,000), Justin Bieber's "My World 2.0" rose two to No. 6 (41,000), Jack Johnson's "To The Sea" slipped one to No. 8 (35,000), Miley Cyrus' "Can't Be Tamed" plummeted six to No. 9 (32,000) and Lady Antebellum's "Need You Now" jumped two to No. 10 (30,000).

Other debuts included the Scissor Sisters' third album "NightWork" at No. 18 with 18,000. The dance/pop group's previous set, "Ta-Dah!," entered at No. 19 with 42,000 in 2006. The score to "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse," bowed at No. 20.

Overall album sales totaled 5.54 million units, down 9% from the previous week and down 20% compared to the comparable sales week of 2009. Year-to-date sales stand at 154.0 million, down 11% compared to the same total at this point last year.
