Usher to perform in Beijing in July

American R&B singer Usher Raymond will perform in Beijing at the Wu Kesong Gymnasium this summer July 11, the Beijing News reports.
In terms of the location for the upcoming concert, Usher said it's all due to his friend Beyonce, who performed there last year and highly recommended the venue. The performance application for Usher's concert has already been approved.
This is the second leg of Usher's Asia tour since the release of his sixth album "Raymond V Raymond" back in March. He will perform in Seoul, South Korea on July 3.
Usher rose to fame during the 1990s and since then has received 5 Grammy Awards, 4 World Music Awards, 4 American Music Awards, 8 Soul Train Music Awards, and 19 Billboard Music Awards. He has sold over 35 million albums worldwide. Billboard Magazine ranked Usher as No.1 on their "Hot 100 Artists" of the last decade.
